Introduction

Squishis are soft, squishy toys that are often made of a slow-rising foam material. They come in various shapes, sizes, and designs, such as animals, food items, and objects. Squishis are popular among children and adults as stress-relief toys or collectibles. They are fun to squeeze and play with due to their soft and squishy texture.

Material

  • Sponge or balloon
  • Scissors
  • Fabric paint or puffy paint
  • Sealant (such as Mod Podge or clear nail polish)
  • Paintbrushes

Steps

  • Sponge Squishy:
  1. Cut a sponge into your desired squishy shape, such as a rectangle, circle, or any shape you like.
  2. Use fabric paint or puffy paint to decorate the sponge shape. You can add designs, patterns, or faces to make it more fun.
  3. Let the paint dry completely.
  4. Apply a sealant over the painted surface to protect the design and give the squishy a glossy finish. Allow the sealant to dry completely.
  • Balloon Squishy:
  1. Inflate a balloon to your desired size for the squishy.
  2. Tie the balloon to secure the air inside.
  3. Use fabric paint or puffy paint to decorate the surface of the balloon. You can create designs, patterns, or faces on the balloon.
  4. Let the paint dry completely.
  5. Apply a sealant over the painted surface to protect the design and give the squishy a glossy finish. Allow the sealant to dry completely.
