Material

  • Wax (such as soy wax or beeswax)
  • Candle wicks
  • Fragrance oils (optional)
  • Candle dye (optional)
  • Candle containers or molds
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe container
  • Stirring utensil
  • Thermometer

Steps

    1. Prepare your work area by covering surfaces with newspaper or a protective layer.

    2. Measure and melt the wax using a double boiler or microwave-safe container. Heat the wax to the recommended temperature according to the type of wax you are using.

    3. While the wax is melting, prepare your candle container or mold by securing the wick in the center. You can use a wick holder or adhesive to keep the wick in place.

    4. Once the wax is melted, add any desired candle dye and fragrance oil. Stir gently to combine.

    5. Check the temperature of the wax and ensure it is suitable for pouring into the container or mold.

    6. Carefully pour the wax into the container or mold, making sure the wick stays centered.

    7. Allow the candle to cool and harden for several hours or overnight.

    8. Trim the wick to the desired length and your day candle is ready to use.

It's done!

Remember to always follow safety precautions when working with hot wax and open flames. Enjoy making your DAY candles!
